The Enterprise Technology Solutions (ETS) Department provides information technology solutions that increase the business effectiveness of local government and law enforcement agencies, and their customers, in Hamilton County. The mission of ETS is to support the City of Cincinnati and Hamilton County through excellence in design, development, and application of technology solutions that increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the various local governments, public safety, and law enforcement agencies in the region by improving service delivery and enterprise coordination.
The Cincinnati Area Geographic Information System (CAGIS) in an enterprise-wide consortium that provides the Cincinnati and Hamilton County government agencies and private utilities with local government management solutions that are integrated with land and infrastructure information. CAGIS operates under an agreement between the City of Cincinnati, the Board of County Commissioners of Hamilton County, and Duke Energy, which is renewed every two years. The CAGIS agreement provides for additional parties and associate members to be added to the consortium.
CAGIS is responsible for maintaining geospatial data related land, infrastructure, environment and services within Hamilton County. The Office of Performance & Data Analytics (OPDA) uses CAGIS data to support several CincyInsights' dashboards.
